Carabara Designs x Cheerfully Made Birthday Collab

Carabara Designs x Cheerfully Made Birthday Collab

For Cheerfully Made's TENTH BIRTHDAY, we collaborated with some of our favourite makers and we obviously couldn't do it without our friends at Carabara Designs.

She designed a stunning greeting card that touches on the community where we live, work and play... Almonte!

We also asked ALL our makers to answer a few fun questions for the occasion. Here's what they said...

Q: What is your best memory of Cheerfully Made (shop or markets)?
A: My best, most significant memory of Cheerfully Made is the very first show I did. I had a fledgling business with only a couple of tea towels and prints, and I got into Etsy Made in Canada — this was back in 2016! I'd heard of Emily's stellar reputation as a craft show organizer, so I was so excited to get in, but very nervous. I was such a newbie, panicking to get my bare-bones display together, anxious about whether people would connect with my work. Emily was so friendly and welcoming, and made sure all vendors had a great experience. I knew then that I would participate in as many Cheerfully Made markets as I could!

Q: What were you thinking about when making this product?

A: While I was creating this card design, I was picturing myself wandering into Almonte, noticing the way the light hit the buildings. I thought of walking out of Cheerfully Made after finding a unique treasure, and seeing the gorgeous architecture of the post office in the late afternoon light.

Q: Do you have any wishes for Emily & Cheerfully Made for the next 10 years?

A: I wish Emily, the Cheerfully Made, and the Cheer Squad years of loyal customers, meaningful growth, and cheering on local makers as they've been doing since the beginning!

Q: Anything you want to add?

A: Happy birthday, Cheerfully Made. It's been a stellar run so far and even greater horizons are in the future. xo Cara
